Kathe enjoys and welcomes the chance to meet her readers -- at middle schools and high schools, alternative schools and public libraries -- to talk about books and writing, to hear what they like and don't like about YA novels (or anything else, for that matter). She leads writing and critique workshops where young writers learn how to improve their own work, and how to offer helpful and insightful criticism to other writers. She also speaks with education and library professionals at their conferences and conventions.
